Straighten Up: How to Get Straighter Teeth, Faster

Invisalign Phoenix, AZ Having a mouth full of crooked teeth won’t exactly land you the cover of GQ magazine. If you have crooked teeth but are too worried about your appearance if you have to wear metal braces, then Invisalign may be the right thing for you to consider. Invisalign is an oral treatment that uses clear, plastic aligners to help straighten teeth without the need for traditional metal braces. Depending on a variety of things including your jaw alignment and facial structure will help us at Arcadia Dental Arts determine if Invisalign is a good option for you. If you are given the go-ahead to move forward with Invisalign, then we have a few ways for you to get straighter teeth, in a fast amount of time.

Wear Your Aligners

One of the great things about Invisalign is that you can take out your aligners to brush your teeth and eat, but make sure that you put them back in. Remember that the more you wear your aligners, the better they are going to work. In fact, you should be wearing your aligners for about 20 to 22 hours a day.

Change Out Your Aligners

You should be changing out your aligners to your new set every two weeks. The more consistent you are with changing out your aligners, the faster you will get your results. Every new aligner that you put in will put you one step closer to having straighter teeth. So, make sure that you stay as consistent as possible.

Clean Your Teeth and Aligners

Having clean teeth and aligners throughout the process will ensure that you don’t get any cavities and that your teeth stay as healthy as possible; both of which will hopefully bring you closer to having straighter teeth.

It can be hard to wait for anything; especially when it’s something cosmetic like having straighter teeth. If you want to learn more about Invisalign and whether or not it’s right for you, schedule a consultation at our Phoenix office and give us a call at 602.957.9643
