The CEREC® acronym stands for “CEramic REConstruction” and allows a dentist to fabricate and place a dental crown in a single visit. The technology has been used in dentistry for many years and is proven to be a reliable and efficient way to restore teeth. It eliminates the need for multiple visits, saving everyone time, money, and energy.
What is the process of obtaining a CEREC® dental crown?
The process begins with Dr. John Pappas taking digital images of the tooth to be crowned. These images are then used to create a 3D model of the tooth in the software. He can then choose from a variety of dental porcelains to create the perfect crown for you. Once the design is complete, the crown is fabricated using a special milling machine and placed in your mouth during a single visit. CEREC® is a fast, comfortable, and convenient way to restore teeth and improve your smile!
